The Shield
We utilize Apple's native Screen Time API (Family Controls) to gain system-level access to block apps. When you start a session, we place a "Shield" over Instagram, blocking the app entirely on your phone.

The Tunnel
While the app is blocked, Breakfree connects to the Matrix Protocol. We act as a secure bridge, fetching only your text messages and DM threads, filtering out Stories, Reels, and Feed posts before they ever reach your screen.

The Jar
As you save time avoiding the scroll, your in-app Digital Jar fills up. The more focus minutes you accumulate, the more drawings are added to your personal collection, visualizing your time reclaimed.
